1. Entry forms and fees are due no later than June 7, 2023 for all Paint San Clemente Plein Air painting events and Outdoor Artist Exhibit & Art Sale. Entries postmarked after June 8, 2023 will be returned. Space is limited to the first 100 paid entries, please enter early. No entry will be accepted without fees! Complete rules will be in your packet upon check in and @ www.paintsanclemente.com.

2. Size Restrictions: All entries must be wired and framed. Maximum size including frame may not exceed 24″ on any side. The painting grounds (i.e. paper, canvas, board, etc.) must be stamped with the official logo before the work begins. This will be done at the San Clemente Art Gallery, 100 N. Calle Seville, San Clemente, 9:00 am – 11:00 am, Saturday, June 17, 2023. Bring as many grounds as you wish. OVERSIZED OR UNSTAMPED ENTRIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!

3. Artists are free to paint throughout the cily of San Clemente and San Onofre. Only art painted “en plein air” during the week of June 17 to June 24 will be considered for judged competition. (No studio work). Works entered for judging must be delivered (framed and wired for hanging) to the San Clemente Art Gallery between 8:00 am – 9:00 am on Saturday, June 24. Each artist may submit up to two works. Paintings entered for judging may be offered for sale at the Awards Event. Paintings may not be sold before the Awards Event.

4. All artist vendors wishing to exhibit art for sale outdoors will set up their displays between 8:00 am and 9:30 am, Saturday, June 24. Artists will provide their own set-ups. Average space is 10′ x 10′. There will be security guards all night Saturday June 24th, but you are still responsible for your own artwork. Sellers are responsible for their own sales tax and the required city business license. Artists participating in the Plein Air event will be given priority due to limited available space. Gallery is not responsible for damaged or lost artwork.

5. SCAA Members are required to register for gallery sitting for each painting. Sign-ups on June 17th.
